HOJ (House of Jubilee) is being used by God for His glory. We are so thankful that God gave us the opportunity to be part of this church. We started with just a guitar and a broken snare drum but God knew what are the desires of our hearts. Little by little God used people to bless us with other instruments such as guitars, drumbox, and percussions. "Winds of Fire". It started through a group of young people who loved just to hang out and just play songs to the Lord. Then our pastor said that we were going to make a band. At first we were just playing for the sake of it and some of us were still in learning stage of playing instruments and singing. But later on, God started teaching us how to be passionate for this ministry and develop the talents He gave to each one of us. We got 10 musicians, 3 Worship Leaders, and 6 Vocalists (Electric Guitar- Jordan, James, and Christy Mae/ Acostic Guitar- Paul Carl(sometimes we switch from elec. gutiar to acostic) Base Guitar- Gemmark & Jerry/ Drum- Gary & Von/ Percussion- Glenn/ Keyboard- Ryan/ Song Leaders- Cleofe, Janice, and Pastor Odie/ Vocals- Cherry Ann, Lenmay, Mae, Rose, Justeen and Juvelyn). We have schedules for practice: Sundays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays. We are still learning how to play the instruments well by God's grace and we are offering all of this to God. We will keep on giving the best and excel in this area for this is God's will for all of us.
